Our Governance:
The Crystal C. Chavez Foundation is currently governed by a 4 member board that includes the president. The members are all members of the Chavez family and serve 4 year terms. Members of the Board of Directors receive no compensation.
Board members shape the direction and set the policies of the Foundation, and serve as core members of our Scholarship Selection Committee. As we grow, we anticipate including members of the community, educational leaders and school personnel to our Scholarship Selection Committee.
